David Patman

David is a social theorist, creative director, digital artist and consultant who works with the unconscious dynamics of groups and communities (real and virtual). Trained as an engineer, and with a PhD in social theory, David is interested in the sociology and cybernetics of dreaming: both as a social practice and a source of ideas for change. He is co-founder of multi-art collaboration the Unconscious Collective, and has conceived and directed a number of major participatory and public art works. He lives in Boomer Bay, Tasmania.
